Dressed in traditional attire\, the motley crew will take to our outside terrace and take you back in time through an unforgettable trip onboard a 19th century ship! \nSing and dance along like a drunken sailor as the band perform centuries old folk and shanty songs. DESCRIPTION:If you are ready to leave the white water behind and consistently catch green waves; this weekend is for you. \n\nFor experienced beginner or improver surfers looking to paddle out and catch green waves. You should be confident in swimming in the sea and surfing un-assisted. A maximum of 5 people per group allows the instructor to analyse and give you detailed feedback on your surfing skills. \nOver the weekend we look at group coaching points and analysis of individual ability\, setting clear goals and targets to work towards.

SUMMARY:ERA Adventures: ISA Level 1 Surf Coach
DESCRIPTION:This level 1 course is the minimum requirement to become a surf instructor for an Surfing England/ISA approved surf school. The course is open at anyone over the age of 16 with a couple of years’ experience surfing and a genuine desire to teach others.\nThe course content covers a wide range of surf education including remaining safe whilst surfing\, specific surfing techniques as well as a range of group management and essential coaching techniques for you to use within your new career. \nThroughout this course you will be assessed\, in both classroom based and practical sessions\, on a variety of criteria including surf venue analysis\, group assessment and lesson planning\, lesson delivery\, practical surfing skills and your own self-assessment. \nBy the end of the course\, you will be expected to demonstrate that your personal surfing prowess is of an acceptable standard along with an assessment of your soft skills in terms of delivering lessons to your peers within the course. You’ll also be expected to show your competency in coaching novice to intermediate level surfers by logging 20 hours of practical tuition with a recognised ISA and Surfing England surf school such as ourselves. As part of this course\, you will also be given your Surfing England membership\, which is a formal requirement needed to work in surf schools here in the UK.

DESCRIPTION:The SLSGB beach lifeguard course is the highest quality award available in the UK. Internationally recognised for beach lifeguards worldwide this award will allow you to progress to become a full NARS beach lifeguard either here in the UK or abroad. This is also the preferred qualification taken by RNLI lifeguards in the UK. \nThe qualification covers fitness\, essential lifeguarding skills including rescue\, life support and first aid both delivered in the classroom and out in the open water. You’ll need to be a minimum of 16 years of age and once you qualify\, the certificate is valid for 24 months.

For the more progressive longboarders\, this is THE event of the year. Surfable from low to high – fast and hollow at times\, playful and just a joy to surf at others – Fistral has quickly established itself as the perfect event to finish off the tour and often provides a dramatic twist in the tale that makes or breaks many a longboarder’s season. The always enthusiastically noisy beach crowd give high tide heats an extra kick of heat\, and the great food and drink served up by main sponsor ‘The Stable’ just finishes things off with a bang.
