The Fistral Beach Complex
Fistral Beach was fast established as the home of British Surfing due to it’s consistent waves, golden sands and stunning coastline.
As you head down to the beach you are greeted with the International Surfing Centre which plays host to a variety of businesses. Expect top quality food, drink and surf shops. The relaxed, carefree attitude that surrounds the complex is felt throughout, everyone is welcome here.
The International Surfing Centre has evolved and grown into the complex that you see today, a vibrant hub of food, surfing & shopping.
Enjoy world class food from the Fish House or top quality surf lessons from Fistral Beach Surf School, not to mention surf fashion for all the family at Ann’s Cottage & Fat Face.
Fistral Beach also has some of the most iconic and beautiful scenery in Cornwall.
It’s also worth noting that Fistral Beach is one of the few beaches that is dog friendly ALL year round.
Iconic for being the home of British Surfing, Fistral is located on the North Coast of Cornwall.
As a west facing beach Fistral enjoys consistent surf and uninterrupted sunsets.
With two headlands perfectly enclosing this large beach, you can enjoy water sports or exploring the beautiful coastline surrounding the beach.
The RNLI run a comprehensive lifeguard patrol at Fistral Beach.
They operate a 7 days a week service from 10am-6pm from 1st April-29th October, in November they operate a weekend patrol.
The RNLI lifeguards set up and monitor dedicated surfing and bathing areas on the beach, which are moved to the most suitable areas of the beach dependent on the conditions and tides.
The toilets are open all year.
Currently the shower area remains closed.
Free Key Holding Facilities
Fistral Beach Surf Hire is open throughout the year from 9am and looks after car keys free of charge, simply drop them off when you are heading in the water.
