The International Surfing Centre has evolved and grown into the complex that you see today, a vibrant hub of food, surfing & shopping.

Enjoy world class food from the Fish House or top quality surf lessons from Fistral Beach Surf School, not to mention surf fashion for all the family at Ann’s Cottage & Fat Face.

Fistral Beach also has some of the most iconic and beautiful scenery in Cornwall.

It’s also worth noting that Fistral Beach is one of the few beaches that is dog friendly ALL year round.

Stunning Location

Iconic for being the home of British Surfing, Fistral is located on the North Coast of Cornwall.

As a west facing beach Fistral enjoys consistent surf and uninterrupted sunsets.

With two headlands perfectly enclosing this large beach, you can enjoy water sports or exploring the beautiful coastline surrounding the beach.

Lifeguards

The RNLI run a comprehensive lifeguard patrol at Fistral Beach.
They operate a 7 days a week service from 10am-6pm from 1st April-29th October, in November they operate a weekend patrol.

The RNLI lifeguards set up and monitor dedicated surfing and bathing areas on the beach, which are moved to the most suitable areas of the beach dependent on the conditions and tides.

Toilets & Showers

There is a toilet and shower area in the International Surfing Centre, which are open all year.

The hot showers are perfectly placed once you have enjoyed your dip in the Atlantic and work with tokens which can be purchased at the surf hire.

In the shower’s there is an area to get changed.

Free Key Holding Facilities

Fistral Beach Surf Hire is open throughout the year from 9am and looks after car keys free of charge, simply drop them off when you are heading in the water.

Beach Wheelchair:

The Fistral Beach Hire Centre works closely Cornwall Mobility to provide a free beach wheelchair.

The beach wheelchair can be used freely across the beach.

Charges apply from 8am-6.30pm, with free evening parking from 6.30pm

1 hour: Free!

Additional hour: £1.80

Additional 2 hours: £3.20

All day: £5.60

Strictly no vehicles over 7 metres

There is a large pay & display car park located on Fistral Beach next to the International Surfing Centre.
